Dara Galera was born June 19, 1987, in Mayaro District Hospital.
Dara grew up in the small village of Radix, about 47km miles north of Sangre Grande. Dara Galera's father, Anthony was an instrumental engineer. Her mother, Juneth, was a self employed seamstress. In 2005, she graduated Princes Senior Seconary School as a Dean's Honor Roll student.
After graduating in 2005, Dara Galera entered Modern Business where she successfully obtained two (2) additional O'Level subjects. She went on to earn a Diploma in Front Office & Travel Agency from the Trinidad & Tobago Hospitality & Tourism Institute. After graduating with a 2.98 GPA, she became employed as a cashier then a Project Secretary. She then got the job of her dreams Front Desk Agent but further learnt that that wasn't for her.
Now just a few months later, she is employed at a company she feels will give her the drive that she needs.
